If you haven't played it for a long time you might have an outdated version that tries to link you to an old adress of the masterserver. Download a fresh copy and try to unlock it, maybe this helps.

3 or 4 of you, no problem at all. 6 or 7 will become slightly stuffed. 40????????? so sorry! We've got a quite nice indoor kart track nearby, 2 small and a big airport, but it'll just be too expensive for most of the people to sleep here.

Okay, back from hospital. Luckily my shoulder didn't need any huge fix, they just gave me some sedative stuff, cut a 3mm hole in me and hammered the little titanium thing back into me bone. So now the only worry that's still left from the meet is a strange kind of tiredness
So once again (and this time with a keyboard layout I actually happen to know pretty well) thanks all of you guys! Status Report:
1 day after the kart race we've sent TVE away to watch some planes. Sadly he disappeared in one and is now on his way home. Dan has also just left, so Becky and me are the only ones left for a "who is more knackered" -competition.
Thanks to everyone who was there, and especially Jason, who managed to stuff his house with about 40 drunk fellas and even gave his own bed away and slept on the sofa!
I couldn't have had more fun with you guys, was a brilliant weekend!

3 days to go, I'm quite excited about getting into Welshland. With names like Cwmbran or Llangenny, how will Welsh accent sound like? 5 days to go, I'm starting to think how I can get every gizmo I need through ryanair's hand-luggage-compatibility-size-and-weight-gate-thing.
Sleeping bag? Not a problem, I've got one super mini thing that goes into the side pocket, clothes? Well, how many beers will be spilt over my trousers? will it be hot as hell or will it rain? beer? drinks? no way, even at the smalles airport in the world they wouldn't let me bring beer through the gate. Helmet? yes, I would like to bring my helmet, on the reason that it fits, it only has my sweat soaked in by the lining, and it is recognisable. Towels? One big, one small has to be enough.
Katja? Well, she is a bit sick today, I'm a bit worried atm, she has got some contractions, and the baby should not get out until October...
@Adam, I'll be on skype tonight when Katja feels better. If not, we'll have to be in hospital :-).

But bringing them together is quite hard for me, especially when I have to remember the nick, then the name, then the face. 7 days to go and I've begun a serious training procedure, using my bicycle to regain some stamina, my 20 year old Ford Fiesta (new mot, still very very broken) to make handling studies and my slotcars to get my pulse down during a race.
I really want to have a look at adam's CR helmet now, you'll know why when you see it.

Don't worry, us big guys produce more surface pressure, which should help us through the corners. We just have to keep the momentum up, we can't accellerate so fast. Whatever happens, we should use the light guys for the start :-)
